| A spontaneous dance party with my Dad and my best friend. Taken years ago on a road trip through California. That was a good day. |
I thought I'd raise the fear factor even more.
For the first round, I attempted to conquer my top three phobias in exchange for your votes. I posted videos. Check out #1, #2, and #3 here.
Semi-finals start today and I'm exploring my fears in a different way.
This time, in exchange for your votes, I'm going to be doing some of the things I've always wanted to do, but haven't. The things that I hold back from because I'm scared I'm not good enough. Because I'm not coordinated enough, or smart enough, or skinny enough.
I'm not talking about buying a sailboat, or traveling to India (though those are on my bucket list for sure), I'm talking about the every day kind of acts that don't require huge amounts of money or time. But they do require courage that I haven't yet been able to muster.
For 500 votes I'll take an Indian dance class.
For 1000 votes I'll give a bouquet of flowers to a total stranger.
As the votes roll in, I'm also gonna sneak into a hotel pool for a swim, join a theatre improv class, wear leather pants, (in no particular order and perhaps simultaneously.)

Voting is easy and there's no registering required. You can vote every hour!
Please share this link and vote often. But more than just wanting you to vote for me, I'd love you to explore your own resistance too.
What scares you? What are the things you could be doing now but aren't?
Do them now. Do them with me!!!
Thanks for the love and support, story makers. Today, and always.
